Joel oversees the entire loan department as well as uses his 25 years of lending experience to write Consumer, Agricultural and Personal loans. Joel is a graduate of Pearl City High School and earned a BS in Agri-Business from Illinois State University. He is also a graduate of the Illinois Bankers School and the H.C.C. Leadership Institute. He is a member of the Stephenson County Farm Bureau, the Stephenson County Beef Association and is very active in the Pearl City Masonic Lodge and Pearl City Lions Club.
Dave Erwin

Dave has over 32 years experience in agricultural, business and personal lending. He is a Pearl City High School graduate and earned a BS in Agricultural Economics from Southern Illinois University. Dave is an active member of the Pearl City Lions and serves on the Stephenson County Fair Board.
Dennis Groezinger
Loan Officer / Crop Insurance Specialist

Dennis has been a loan officer for over 6 years and helps area farmers as the bank’s Crop Insurance Specialist. He is a graduate of Lena Winslow High School and earned his AS from Highland Community College and his BS from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He serves his community as a volunteer for the Lena Fire Department.
Dale Heinkel

Prior to joining Citizens State Bank in June of 2010, Dale worked as an Agricultural Lending Specialist for Mid-Wisconsin Bank, and as an Agricultural Loan Officer for the Bank of Augusta. Before that he was a consultant with Illinois Valley Farm Business Farm Management, where he provided farmers with financial advice and guidance for nearly 20 years. Dale also managed his own family farm in Stephenson County for nearly a decade. Dale earned his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Dairy Science at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.
Dale is currently active in the community as the Treasurer of the Freeport Noon Kiwanis as well as helping the Freeport Area Church Cooperative with projects.
